Armodio
This work is an etching through which the artist shows his skill in manipulating the etching technique to create an image of great refinement and delicacy. The image depicts a human profile, outlined with light, fragmented marks that suggest a sense of unfinishedness and transience. The lines dissolve in some areas, evoking a balance between the visible and the invisible, typical of Armodio's poetics. The figure appears almost suspended in time, creating a contemplative and intimate atmosphere. This print demonstrates how Armodio manages to transfer his metaphysical language into graphic art as well, maintaining the symbolic depth and visual poetry that characterize his pictorial production.
