"Mallarmé" by Armodio, a work created with the tempera on wood technique, depicts an incomplete shoe, still in the manufacturing phase. The work explores the duality between elements soft and sinuous and geometric and metallic structures, which emerge from the lining. There shoe, a recurring symbol in the artist's imagination, is never a finished object, but always under construction, representing the continuous process of creation. Neutral tones and metal, together with the hidden compartments, emphasize the imperfection and the transformation, reflecting on evolution and the incomplete condition of the human being and of art.
