Pieralberto Filippi derives his plastic research from that previously carried out with painting. His plastic planes know no abrupt interruptions; under the effect of light, they integrate each other, without any solution of continuity, creating tactile pleasures underlined by the sinuosity of the soft contours.
The volumes, regardless of their dimensions and projections, are powerful and light and, often devoted to frontality (legacy of the parallel pictorial activity), create twists and dynamisms to avoid any form of static nature that sometimes, but only apparently, could emerge.
